Zell, his place of residence, was identified with both Backnang and the adjacent parish of Oppenweiler, and his death record is found in the latter: Evangelische Kirche Oppenweiler, Dekanat Backnang, Kirchenbücher, Band 1, Mischbuch 1600–1672, 493 recto, sixteenth entry, Archion (www.archion.de/en, Stuttgart, Ger.: Kirchenbuchportal GmbH, 2013–8). Further research in the original parish registers may provide additional information.
