The English origin of this family has been known to students of the Great Migration since at least 2018. Not all of these are quoted in Randy A. West, The Whereabouts of Gabriel¹ Meade of Dorchester, Massachusetts, Prior to Emigration, New England Historical and Genealogical Register 178 (2024): 90-3, but West does provide the additional information from High Wycombe.
