This lineage follows Craig Partridge, The English Origin of Edmund¹ Tapp of New Haven and Milford, Connecticut, American Genealogist 72 (1997): 65-80, 73 (1998): 65-72, the second installment of which consists of a lightly annotated transcript of the pleadings in a key suit in chancery.
