Konrad Läpple, Die Familien Läpple und Lepple, Band 1 (München, Germany: compiler, 1989), 104, 105, includes a transcript of Anna’s marriage record, which identifies her place of origin, in the civil district (Amt) of Göppingen. However, the compiler indicates that a search for her baptism in this parish was unsuccessful, apparently because no baptisms were recorded from 1619 to 1631. He also notes that the surname Kälberer appears there very frequently in later years, and proposes this as the usual form of Jerg’s name.
